In 2015, Horst (pictured below) decided to pass on his legacy and spend more time in his garden and on his boat. He had spent 30 years processing seafood and game, developing his techniques and recipes. During that time, he became famous for his lox, smoked salmon, landjeager, and summer sausage. Luckily for you and us, he not only shared those recipes with us but has also served as our mentor, teaching us the techniques he spent all those years perfecting.
We are very proud to carry on his tradition and offer fresh seafood and the highest quality seafood products "Sea to Table", to the public and restaurants near and far. You can find it in Juneau at Tracy's King Crab Shack, Salt, Saffron, and McGivney's, among others.
